Easy Homemade Filled Chocolates

There’s just something special and satisfying about making your own chocolates. If you have young children at home who are eager to please Dad on Father’s Day, then why not try these chocolate-filled miniatures? Or check out the chocolate chip pretzel bars, caramel-filled and creamy fondant-filled chocolate recipes below.

This recipe is simple and quick to make, taking only 35 minutes, including your prep and cooking time. 

First, start off by melting your favourite kind of chocolate and add it to some molds. You can get creative here and pick any kind of shapes that would be meaningful to your Dad. From golf balls to fishing lines, you can create some truly special chocolate treats to reflect his favourite hobbies. Just be sure to use extra amounts of chocolate if your mold is quite large or deep.

Ingredients:

        Chocolate mold

        5 ounces (150 grams) of good quality dark chocolate, milk chocolate or half of each.

        White chocolate filling

        2.5 ounces (75 grams) of white chocolate or milk chocolate 

        2 tablespoons powdered sugar

        3.5 – 4 tablespoons of whipped or whole cream (depending on thickness).
